Hi! My name is Tracie Dickson. This is my 10th year at Lubbock Cooper North. I am also a Graduate of Lubbock Cooper. I recieved my Education Degree at Texas Tech. I have a wonderful husband, Tyson, two great children- Macie and Caleb. We have two dogs Lilly and Jezabell.
I love watching 1st graders grow each year- I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you!!!!

I love GR!!! The first few weeks we will be assessing and leveling each child. I will use this information to decide where your child is. During GR time your child will meet with me in small groups. Your child will bring home 1-2 books a week. Your child will bring these books home for you to listen to them read. After they are finished reading the book to you, ask them questions and discuss the book. (They should be able to read these books with little or no help.) If you have questions please let me know.
